If your dog is under 6 months of age see Puppy Training.
Please note that these training sessions can not deal with behaviourial difficulties such as aggression, destruction or separation realated behaviours – for this see Behaviour Therapy
Does your dog…
- Jump up on people?
- Bark excessively?
- Not respond when you call them back?
- Run out when you open your front door?
- Guard objects?
- Pull you when you’re walking?
- Become over-excited in sight of other people or animals?
- Toilet indoors?
- Worry about getting in the car?
Dog training primarily focus on teaching your dog specific skills and commands using methods on how a dog relates to learning.
Around 6 months of age your dog is entering into a time of puberty and adolescence: I provide advice, training support and guidance to help guide your dog through this stage avoiding anxiety and fear development. This can be a very frustrating time for dog owners and challenging for your dog also.
I provide one-to-one dog training sessions, supported with shared notes & the clients training video clips to enable continued practice between sessions and on going training support. I offer individual 1 hour sessions or 3, 5 or 8 hour training packages based on training needs (packages are flexible bookings in 1 hour slots).
My training methods are modern and results focussed. Ethical and well researched, delivered compassionately with understanding, and with the ability to build strong links between pet owners and their dog.
